L’Oréal Paris False Lash Telescopic

Where I got it: I was sent this for review, but you can find this in Farmers or any leading pharmacies for RRP$29.99.

What I got: This is a L’Oréal Paris False Lash Telescopic Mascara in Waterproof Black.  With innovative lengthening fibre formula this helps build intensity with a brush that wraps and extends every lash in just one stroke, False Lash will help you take your lashes to a whole new dimension in length.

How I find it: The brush head and bristles are really flexible and soft, the formula is quite wet and glossy. As usual, I like to curl my lashes, then I put a minimum of 2 coats of any mascaras to build up volume. For this mascara, you really need to apply about 2 layers because of the gel-like formula. First layer gives it a bit of volume and builds up a bit of length, let that dry and apply the second coat for the formula to stick to itself and create a very nice lengthening effect that is not clumpy at all. The end result is rather glossy and separated lashes.

Top: No mascara, only eye liner. Middle: 1 coat of mascara. Bottom: 2 coats of mascara

Overall: This mascara is great! It holds up a curl very well and does not droop at all! It does smudge a little under the outer corners of my eyes (I have oily eye lids) after a long day. Removing is a little hard because it is waterproof, but not removable with warm water. I tried using cleansing oil, but it leaves residue. I tried Bioderma and it isn’t that effective. I had to use oil based eye makeup remover.
