LUSH Grass shower gel

In Beauty on 02/10/2013 at 10:00

Where I got it: I got this from the LUSH Blogger event in Auckland – check it out here, it was a great night! But this is available from your local LUSH store and online. They are available in 3 sizes: $14.50 for 100g, $24.90 for 250g, $35.90 for 500g.

What I got: This is a 250g bottle of GRASS Shower gel from LUSH. This new shower gel is made with LUSH’s new Ninja fragrance, antioxidant wheatgrass juice, and citrus oils to bring sunshine to your days again. Smells lovely like the lawn – a mixture of grass and nature!

How I find it: The shower gel is a deep green colour and the smell of grass is rather concentrated. So if you sniff it right out of the bottle it will smell rather strong and kinda medicinal. Once I lather it up and applied on my body, the fragrance of grass is really nice and it kind of fills up my bathroom as well. This shower gel was intended to be for my hubby which I thought men would not like strawberry/vanilla/marshmallow scented body gels, but I fell in love with it instead!  I guess I love it because I grew up rolling down the grass hills of New Zealand and he grew up in the concrete buildings in Hong Kong so he hasn’t touched the ground much in his life.

Overall: Great shower gel from LUSH. The fragrance is very unique and special. Cleansing and moisturising effects are average because they are not really focused on these things, more focused on the fragrance I think.
