Dermalogica Dermal Clay Cleanser

In Beauty on 05/01/2013 at 08:29

A recent revisit with the dermal office products from the October glam box from Sample Bar made he revive my interest in its products. Initially, I used the combination skin set they sell and fell in love with

Where I got it: I got this on Strawberrynet.com for $46.50 (250mL). It was actually on extra special discount. This is a fraction of the retail price!

What is this: This is a 250mL bottle of Dermalogica Dermal Clay Cleanser. I have used this cleanser before I loved it, but it was a bit on the expensive side if you buy it from the stores. This clay cleanser is white in colour and smells minty. It does not foam or works into a lather. I use the amount shown with damp hands and face, then I spread it all over my face (avoid eye area because it will sting). Work in circular motions and upward motions, concentrating to problem areas (for me it is my forehead and nose). Rinses off easily. I have also tried using it with my Clarisonic (the effects of the Clarisonic is going through a plateau period, I need to stop for a while and change the brush head), I have to spread if on my face instead of putting the cleanser on the brush head, but you need to really close your eyes tight otherwise the menthol will burn your eyes. It leaves a really cool and clean sensation which is very enjoyable.

Overall: It cleanses well for a non-foaming cleanser. It leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean. It takes off all the excess oil on my face, but doesn’t over dry my face. It also works well for men’s skin. I let my hubby try it the other night and he loves it too!
